Every word he says here is a lie. Every. Single. Word. He’s living in an alternate reality. #25thAmendment.

Democrats are fighting back against Trump and MAGA’s authoritarian book bans. Today, Senator Brian Schatz and I are introducing a resolution to protect the right to read at schools, libraries and universities across the country.

I’m not watching the news, but could someone tell me if anyone in the mainstream media is talking about the fact that the President of the United States and Pete Hegseth told America’s top military brass to ignore the rules of engagement and to target minorities in our cities as practice?
“appearance” is the word he was going
for. JFC

Wake up, America, or I fear we may not have elections in 2028.

Blowing up boats in the Caribbean without any legal authority risks dragging the United States into another war, and provoking attacks against American citizens.

I'm getting ready to force a vote with @kaine.senate.gov to ensure Congress' power to declare war is not so easily trampled.

Today the Oversight Committee sat down with Alex Acosta. What we heard only confirmed what we already knew: he cut a sweetheart deal for Epstein, silenced victims, and let a predator walk free.

Republicans keep proving that free speech isn’t free for everyone. That’s why I introduced the Free Speech Act of 2025 — to stop the FCC from being used as a political weapon and to protect the First Amendment.
Done! Left “1st Amendment to the constitution of the United States of America” as my “other” reason.
No, this is project esther — the successor

You can’t talk about cleaning up crime in D.C. while a 34-count convicted felon is running the country.
Were this treated as a college classroom instead of a twitter style courtroom — had I failed a paper about defamation (specifically), it would be graded, redlined, and PROBABLY allowed to resubmit with corrections. At least, material to be studied for the next exam — an excellent way to learn.
There is a pattern of social media posts and statements made by elected officials and appointed leaders: dangerous hyperbole and accusations that that incite the vulnerable, don’t meet legal criteria for defamation, but meet the criteria for other types of suits. The american people do not know this.
Key takeaways:This war on the 1st amendment will continue, and be strengthened, so long as people
like myself have little understanding of what our rights actually are, how to define them, let alone how to defend them. I am hyperlexic and dyslexic. ADHD and ocd. Your teaching skills are insufficient
“they assassinated our nice guy who actually talked to them peacefully debating ideas. Then millions on the left celebrated and made clear they want all of us dead”.

“The lawyers know…”. The lawyers who are voluntarily here arguing/debating with people trying to connect the same
dots you connect with ease. “Stop trying” (to understand complexities of nuances of
cyber law presented to me TODAY) is the worst advice I have received thus far.

Have a “good night”.
That is a VERY important distinction. Things like tort v. defamation and have also been mentioned (in general). Consensus — these are hard for non-lawyers to distinguish. Establishing that a government worker might have some/any legal recourse to sue, is significant.
