This is damning evidence against the Trump regime. Trump invoked a war time act to justify his unconstitutional treatment of civilians, but the intelligence threat assessment flat out contradicts his invocation, leaving it without justification or ground to stand on.
Trump says he can invoke the wartime Alien Enemies Act of 1798 because the nation is at “war” w/Venezuelan gangs. At yesterday’s House hearing on the newly published Annual Worldwide Threats Assessment, Rep. Castro asked a blunt question: Why is there no mention of it the official threat assessment?
