Adding to this: I feel that if you aren’t clicking with a comic run or a creator’s body of work, turn elsewhere. The stories you want are out there. You can’t harass a creator into making them for you.
I’m firmly of the belief that there is nothing a comics artist or writer can do within their art or to a character that means the appropriate response for you as a reader or fan is to harass them online.

To be clear: you’re not wrong for a piece of art to hurt you. You’re not wrong to express your anger, your hurt, or to discuss not supporting artists whose art hurts you. But art is also allowed to hurt you. Artists are allowed to make art that hurts you. Harassment is completely inappropriate
