I have this thing where my mum asks if I'm in a work meeting every time she needs sth or wants to talk, implying that nothing else could count as me being busy or unavailable.
I recently learned to say that no, I'm not, but I'm busy nonetheless

I've been on a quest of reading from different parts of the world, this year it's Zimbabwe. It's much better to find authors and poets people from those parts enjoy themselves than those recommended by mostly dominant cultures. (Economically dominant)

Fun fact: there is something special planned for the future. Someone gets inspired by learning he could custom order rope in special colours and feels like he should try it on a certain horned owl.

It's the first time I hear about quinces from the market (unless it's Turkish or Syrian). I heard so many Germans saying their grandmothers grew quinces without them knowing how the trees look or what to do with them.
