And, of course, a 1968 rejection letter from Peter Asher of Apple Records. "Apple is not interested in signing David Bowie... We don't feel he is what we're looking for at the moment..."

And there is the David Bowie Centre. Alongside (impossibly tiny) outfits, artefacts & awards, was this 1998 note, including the prediction that the labels “are going to fight MPEG3 tooth & nail” to protect their reliance on the CD. “Let me go on record as being the first to oppose that view”.

Popped into the incredible new V&A East Storehouse in Stratford today. Completely knocked out by the sheer scale of the place. Get hold of a ticket if you can, by hook or by crook.

An excellent 4-1 win for @claptoncfc.co.uk yesterday, in front of 1,057 people, a huge crowd for level 10.

Why on earth isn’t someone asking him… ‘Donnie, how much is a $10 drug going to cost, if its price is reduced by 1,000%?’
FFS, somebody ask him. It’s not difficult.

One time I spent five minutes at lunch drawing a reverse centaur and it became one of my most retweeted pieces of art. I resented that so I deleted it but now it can be free again because not enough people follow me on here for it to go big

Third IMAX in a month. So a 3MAX*. This time Corpse Bride, with an intro by Tim Burton. That will do nicely...

He wanted a quiet break so he tried to go to Colombia. 😂

Honestly, this sort of total commitment to scoring some gear deserves our admiration.

Is it really true though? Has the PM really called any of his opponents evil?
The issue seems to me less the lurch to extremes, rather that centrist politics are now considered extreme left, many extreme right views are now centre/center right.
