Being so used to talking in English that when I said "dag"(goodbye) in Dutch (my native language), but started saying bye and halfway though changed it to dag, to end up sounding like an utter fool saying byaag >_> ....

fyi: we finally got a good level design tool for Unreal and it is Scythe
many people are already using it in production. proper iterative level design is getting to happen in unreal for the first time in a long time. you are going to start noticing the difference soon

I am so giddy about renting my own appartment, just paid the deposit (yay, no more roommates!😆) and I am weirdly enjoying making google spreadsheet overviews of all the stuff I need to buy.

Walking away from my job in #gamedev after 7 years, right before getting my promotion to senior, especially now, sounds kinda crazy.
It is the first job I ever walked away from, all my other non-gamedev jobs ended due to economic hardship and closures.
It feels weirdly good to have this agency.
