It always drives me a little crazy when people say “you have to consider both sides.” No, you really don’t. For starters, there are usually far more than “both” (aka just 2) sides to an issue. And when one of them simply ignores facts or invents them, they don’t warrant any deeper consideration.

There’s literally no way for Larian to have an in-house AI without relying on external datasets.

They can feed a model with their own data to the point where it matches a chosen style, but the underlying model is still 100% reliant on scraped (stolen) data.

Larian CEO says Divinity could have gen AI assets in it but only if the tools are trained on the studio's own data.

there’s an reluctance to hold a tool maker responsible for how others use that tool, but when a company runs the website that encourages teens to kill themselves or the one that creates non-consensual explicit images of women and children, someone at that company should be criminally fucking liable

Pendant que j'y pense : oui, mon respect pour vous baisse quand vous utilisez l'IA générative.

Je vous le dis peut être pas assez, peut être suis-je trop poli à cet égard, après tout quand je mets ma casquette de staff FRVtubers je dois être poli avec tous, mais c'est pourtant le cas.
