This isn't hypothetical.

The coming days are bringing higher prices and disrupted supply chains, this time not because of a pandemic or a war, but self-inflicted by our country's government under this president.
If it’s not holding my interest or the writing annoys me, I will DNF. 😅 If I am curious about the ending, I will just skip to the end and read it or look up the reviews.
I’m in one of the worst reading slumps I’ve had in years. 😭 Nothing is holding my interest. I need some good recs- books you absolutely couldn’t put down! Bonus if they’ll make me laugh. 💛

“Reading isn’t political.” Yet UK bookstores are pausing U.S. shipping due to tariffs, paperbacks still aren’t $10 🙄, and authors are cancelling their U.S. book events…
How are you liking Her Majesty’s Royal Coven?

Tucson, Arizona today.

Original projected attendance was 3,000 people.

23,000 showed up.
That’s awesome! Congratulations!!💛
It’s been a minute, friends. I needed a little break from social media, but I’m slowly making my way back. February was the month of ROMANCE reading for me! 💗 I also celebrated my birthday! 🥰

What was your fav read in Feb? What’s on your March tbr?

I’ve been struggling to make content given the state of things.

BUT! I did start a new book this weekend: D’Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding! So far, so good. 🥰

What are you currently reading? #booksky
The fit and look is 🔥🙌🏻

Churches should be taxed. There should be no reason a church should talk about immigration and telling people “Hell has open borders.”

All mega churches should be double taxed.
Same!! Those books made me cryyy!! I’m so excited for the last book!! 💛
I just finished This Could Be Us! So good! Also, I loved Outdrawn!!
I didn’t fully realize I was bi until I was 29. And now I’m like, girl, the signs were always there. 🤣
Sending you all so much love. 💛💛💛
You’ve got this, friend!!! 🙌🏻💙
“Finding someone you can laugh with when everything hurts – was the stuff happily ever after were made of” 😭💙 I’m only 20% into this book, and I am crying, but also loving it. #beforeiletgo #authorkennedyryan #bipocbooks #booksky #booksthathityouinthefeels
I had the same thought, too. I’ve started buying banned books as I can.

i just cannot get over how much the administration’s response to the crash shows a profound disrespect for the lives of the people they are supposed to serve
What?!?!? Where the F**K are we supposed to shop?! 😭

#booksky I am suggesting you all stock up on banned books. The Dept of Education just dropped all of the cases of banned books before them for review. Maybe pair up with other bibliophiles to create a mini lending library. I bought 25 before Xmas for $100. The good guys don’t ban books.
I just ordered The Color Purple, To Kill a Mockingbird, Night by Elie Wiesel, and a copy of the U.S. Constitution. I plan to get a few each month.
Start buying physical copies of banned books (if you financially can). We don’t know how much longer they’ll be accessible in stores or online. My first ordering haul. #bannedbooks #booksky
