ichiyamamoto, "this is who i am." - #sumo #相撲 #一山本 ⛑✊
And the "best legs reveal" award goes to...
I would like to have this picture on a t-shirt
Hoshu Yusho - that's all she wrote
There are no losers here, only winners
Ahh, thank you Tokihayate 😮‍💨 Take care, Nishikigi and don't take more harry potter themed pictures, pretty please.
Ok Hoshoryu, you can go and grab that yusho, my wall is already prepared.
Tokihayate, please, spare the Old-Strongman, give him that one win 🥺
Have a great final sumo day! Make sure to take photos of the main prize, that means the Macaron ;) (hope they have one prepared in London as well)
Waiting for the clash of the titans during the 17th bout. Which rare kimarite we will see today? I wouldn't be surprised if they were to invent a new technique during that bout.
Also, I don't think I saw Aonishiki and Ura fighting against each other before!
Also in Camden Market I found a very cool vegan restaurant called M'eat the Vegans.
The food was delicious, prices reasonably cheap for London standards. Their fish & chips was sooo good. The staff was also nice and helpful. We were there 3 times during our 5-day trip. I strongly recommend it!
They have that address shown, it's inside Camden Market:
Bandai Namco Cross Store
Provender Building
Units 16-18 / 100–101 Stables Market
Chalk Farm Road
London
NW1 8AH
Also in London (Camden) I encountered a Gacha Store, bought 2 capsules with sumo wrestlers. These figurines have their own dummy names, like Wakabasato.
I wonder, does any sekitori have such light-green mawashi? That guy with yellow mawashi is obviously Atamifuji (second guess Kagayaki) ;)
I think that obnoxious people will take advantage of others whenever they can, especially when others are weaker in any way.
I'm not a good source of info as a neurodiv woman too but it happens to me rather often.
For example, during the London trip, when I navigated through crowds my partner asked me not to hunch/cringe because people would push me aside. I was just trying to compress myself to give others more space.
You were very polite there, they were lucky that you, a well-mannered and calm person, sat next to them. I feel like, if they had a man as a neighbour, my partner for instance, the rikishi would not be the only fighters in the arena.

Ura's appeal is undeniable and realized across bounderies and cultures.
Walking back to his dressing room after his Day 2 victory vs Fujinokawa, a catering staff member suddenly appeared and handed him a beer.
Not one to miss opportunity, Ura quickly nodded his head, accepted the beer and ...
Also, London as a city is a very interesting place, lots of things to see there. But it is quite overwhelming at the same time. I wish I could have a few more days to explore the city and spot another rikishi in the wild ;)
It's good to be at home again and reunite with my friends, I missed them.
Watching sumo from the RAH venue was truly amazing.
However, watching it from a home's couch has many advantages ;)
(for example, a spectator from behind won't spill a jin-and-tonic on me. Also, I don't have to witness the fourth Nishikigi's loss in a row :((( )
I guess that could be a rikishi from Nishonoseki beya, but I have no idea what his shikona is
Yes, he looked almost naked with his mawashi only ;)
