I was delighted to co-host the workshop “What do we (not) know about
German colonialism in Tanzania?” together with @seitzramona.bsky.social at the #bfuturefestival

The discussions reflected how important it is to continue uncovering & rethinking shared colonial histories.

On Sunday, we are opening a small but special exhibition: Celebrating Womanhood. Cultural Heritage from #Kilimanjaro. It combines historical objects with current knowledge and diverse perspectives – and shows the significance of this cultural heritage, which is over 100 years old, to this day.

When the EU Parliament comments on Tanzanian politics, it gives Berlin Conference vibes. Y’all divided Africa once maybe sit this one out. Once a colonizer, always a colonizer. Mind your business, bana.
