This isn't really policy. It's an announcement before consultation. It may never happen anyway. www.gov.uk/government/c...
Consultation on the Introduction of Electric Vehicle Excise Duty (eVED)
A consultation setting out further detail on how eVED will work.

I was looking forward to picking a couple bottles of this up next week, now I'm not so sure 🤣

Was interesting to see the Chancellor on BBC Breakfast this morning have absolutely no clue how EV Road pricing will actually work in practice for cars under 3 years. I dont want a big bill at the end of the year, I want pay as you go and how will this system cope with miles not driven on UK roads

Yes, yes, it's famously the case everywhere that the moment you remove cars, crime rates soar.

That's a bit disappointing King Cobra used to be an 8% beer occasionally encountered in curry houses. Disappeared for a few years and now back as an ok 5.2% lager. Had a few good evenings fuelled by the old version 😂

New household addition, was very sceptical it would be up to the task of cleaning a living room with three really hairy dogs living in it but its actually doing and amazing job and it was only a cheap budget model. Sometimes tech actually works! The least hairy its ever been.

As well as not drinking, I've spent the afternoon making mugs for my wife's craft business.

Had a sinus op on Tuesday, recovering now and another 6 week course of antibiotics so no beer for me for a few weeks. This is kind of ok, some weisbier flavours but the lack alcohol really shows.
