Yesterday, we held a demonstration in front of the UK embassy in Warsaw- Poland. A small group with a loud message , freedom for the Filton 24. Our voices carried the weight of justice. We stood together to remind the world that silence helps the oppressor, never the oppressed.

Guantánamo 2.0

At 3 a.m., Kazakh agents took Sabri al-Qurashi and Mohammed Algubrai. By dawn, they were gone—deported, stateless, alone.

Sabri lived in Kazakhstan since 2014. Promised freedom from Guantánamo, he got another prison: no ID, no work, no family, constant surveillance, beatings.

My brother Fahd Ghazy, taken at 17 and caged in #Guantánamo for 14 years. He never gave up, rebuilt his life after release, then was sent back to war-torn Yemen where he died in a tragic accident. One of the worst forms of torture is being locked up without charges, without trial, without knowing when or if you’ll ever be free. Being cut off from your family and life, that’s a slow death.
