Country is properly on its knees, and they're still on about raising taxes and doing austerity. Is it any wonder Reform are doing well?

when you tie a tie, try to put in a dimple, like so
a black and white photo of a man in a pinstripe worsted suit, white shirt, and textured necktie. the tie has a nice dimple under the knot. a photo of donald trump upside down. there is also a nice dimple on his red tie

Ive not listened to it in the pastb24 hours but Im going give you Layla by Derek and the Dominoes as another fine outro

Yeah i thought the "too short" thing had largely been dispelled as a myth after his first season, albeit hes not played consistently since
mancversusfood.bsky.social
Hes definitely not shit, his passing ability is a huge miss atm and LCB is a position we struggle with. Can only remember a couple of games where his height was an issue, but injury record is a huge concern

From the same politician that gave you such policies as "English is a pointless degree" and "Let's defund education to such a level that literacy rates are falling"

Simon Jones on a boat in the Channel tomorrow morning screaming questions at people in life jackets about Jane Austen’s use of free indirect speech.

I reckon it's the same with many of the classics. They're better if you studied them rather than just picking them up and going at it. Did quite a bit of Dickens for A Level and then some more in Uni, so I got into it

There's no shame in not finishing books, a lot of books are just bad.

Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat

Agree on Catcher in the Rye, but Dickens is alright.

Harry Potter didn't, in the end, encourage people to read, it just encouraged them to read Harry Potter.

Can't understand why anyone would be against it, unless theyre money laundering

His money is probably better off in that than a bank tbh

Is he tiny or is that a massive gold chain?
