#SWCAdvent 7 John Hill: dark gold, swirls leave thin lines which bead up & fall as slow thin oily legs. Nose suggests juicy tropical fruit, orange marmalade & gentle smoke. Palate gives more juice fruit, orange zest, caramel & grapes. Gentle smoked spice to finish.

#SWCAdvent 4 Paul Worsley: dark gold, swirls leave a thin lines which bead up & fall as slow thick legs. Nose offers farmyard funk, toffee & gentle smoke. Thick fruity palate, a little smoke, a weird off note as the liquid goes down. Confused here! A bourbon maybe?

The Chairmans Choice
Palate:
Sweet and drying all at once, viscous in the mouth despite the abv. Currents, fig, strawberry, oak at the back, peanut.

Very decent drop for Christmas if your loved one likes an oak note.

Palate Not as strong as the nose suggests. Initially dilute, but after a moment the dried dark fruits & spices show. More mince pie than xmas cake Vanilla & caramel are almost hidden by cinnamon & ginger

When it does arrive its very tasty 🥃

#SWCAdvent 3 Neil Prior: pale gold, swirls leave a thin line of beads which falls as slow thin legs. Nose is a little closed, orchard fruit & acetone. Thin mouth coating arrival, immediately spicy. Apple, pear, honey & a little dry apricot. Some icing sugar sweetness.

#SWCAdvent 2 Rohit Dayama: mid gold dram. Swirls bead up & fall as slow thin legs. Gentle smoke on the nose, some tropical fruit & honey. Thick spicy palate offers smoke, dry spice and juicy tropical fruit. A little liquorice & burnt ends.
