In the latter case Derk maintains the possession throughout the pregnancy, letting Gavin surface and control the body when he needs to rest. A second head may sprout, allowing Gavin to remain aware full time. Sir Lucas remains a giant and preps Derk's old dragon den to accommodate their new arrival.
