In positive life update news, one book I’m working on was long listed and is up for shortlist consideration for a big fiction prize, and the other won me a huge mentorship opportunity with Curtis Brown. So, that’s pretty neat!

Notice to people in general and the delivery driver I just had in particular: “You were born the same year as me, why do you look *SO OLD*?” is likely to get a response of “go fuck yourself” rather than… whatever the hell you thought it was gonna get.

Okay, so my landlord's "representative" has agreed to stop eviction proceedings if I can pay off the arrears by the end of May.

I'm still doing what I can, but I'm still short by around £600 as of now. Please continue to share if you can 🧡
