The Premier has issued an apology over disgraceful comments by a Liberal Party member regarding Craig Garland. Commendable but I would go further. The member should be required by the party to apologise personally, or failing that expelled.

Labor's stacked committee just recommended passing their FOI destruction bill - despite overwhelming evidence AGAINST it.

Greens, Coalition, Lambie AND Pocock all filed dissenting reports. When everyone else says no, maybe listen?

Quick clarification: the article says “new,” but it’s actually referring to the XBB.1.5 monovalent COVID shot that’s already available in many places. The study shows it produces stronger, longer-lasting antibodies than older versions — a good reminder to stay up to date with boosters.

“SARS-CoV-2 has a continual transmission cycle and emergence of new variants that can jeopardise vaccine effectiveness,” but data shows updated COVID shots boost cross-reactive antibodies, offering stronger protection.

COVID is a systemic disease that can harm the brain, heart, immune system and more.

Every reinfection increases the risk of Long COVID, chronic illness, disability and even death.

If people understood the real danger, they’d take prevention seriously instead of accepting repeated infections.
