Thread of all the Games I Beat in 2025!!!! 🎮
I have the amiibo so I was able to use the jukebox feature early. It is WILD just how much better driving through the desert is with the Vi-O-La theme playing lol. Like they should frankly just patch the game so the track plays by default and let you mute it if you want or change tracks later.

I've been enjoying Metroid Prime 4. I don't really expect to have fully fleshed out thoughts until I do a few runs. Metroid games live and die on multiple runs for me. I think the most fascinating thing is that it REALLY feels like a sequel to Metroid Prime 3 in the best and worst ways possible lol.

As someone who purchased Shovel Knight at launch and got the post launch DLC for free, I cannot overstate how much of an insane value that game is. The fact that we got basically two whole games, a smaller new campaign, and a whole ass Smash Bros mode for free is just crazy to me.
I think it's worth pointing out that very few video-game companies are as transparent as Shovel Knight maker Yacht Club Games, and I appreciate that the studio was so candid about their story and why their next game, Mina the Hollower, has taken so long

I think what I love so much abt the Metroid series is that besides an infamous certain entry in the series, you could rank the mainline games in any order and I feel like I could totally get it.

Genuinely the only reason I'm excited abt the Gravity Rush movie is because I feel like this means Sony is gonna actually remaster Gravity Rush 2 eventually lol

Just got back from watching the new Knives Out movie! Amazing! It DEFINITELY surpasses Glass Onion for me and might even top the first. I thought the lead character was so compelling and the whole catholic-core aesthetic fit the murder mystery EXTREMELY well!

Metroid Prime might have my fav intro to a game ever lol. Even though it's linear and different from the rest of the game, 99% of the reason I ALWAYS immediately boot up a new save when I beat that game is to play the prologue lol. I get SO giddy when the ship comes flying in w Samus' theme.

I think one of my fav part abt Air Riders is because of the aggressive slipstream mechanics, I feel like everyone is always close together and that races really are decided up to the last few seconds. Makes for some hype and also absolutely infuriating moments lolll.
