I am still shocked how many people think the civil rights movement, specifically for Black Americans,was just Rosa Parks, MLK Jr’s speech , A little slavery and water fountains.
They have no idea about the genocide, a whole people disconnected from their past, and racism in its current form.

It was a misguided war, but it had multinational support and at the end of it the US didn’t have any more oil than it did before the war.
The point here isn’t that we were once infallible. We make mistakes and have been prone to misinformation before. But we used to have more regard for the law.
