Mike and I had fun today with our local protest group, making signs. I also made a bunch of buttons intended to help spark one-on-one conversations with people.

It’s not a huge thing where I live, but I took the day off and will have some candy ready just in case, only to eat it myself that night while looking at my own decorations while a movie plays on my PC.
That and posting Low Spirits comics every day this month.

We thought of it as the ghost of it Mr Barrett who lived here before us, perhaps because the smoke had leached into the walls and was released with certain atmospheric conditions. Over time it has happened less often but I thought I'd paint a picture of him to remind me.

This makes me think of the story about a malevolent weather spirit released from being trapped in Arctic ice, by melting due to non-earth-stewardly practices.
Climate change.
It went on to wreck havoc in big storms.
