I know I'm only me, a woman with no power or media reach, but I want Jess Philips to somehow know that I worry for her, support her, appreciate her, and hope she doesn't give up doing what she's been doing for years, unlike some who are wielding huge power on a whim just because they're rich

With the Greg Wallace thing, the reporting has been all about womens' reactions and no stories of men who have had to work with him and listen to his 'banter' ... it's made it into a 'woman' problem instead of a Greg Wallace problem

I've got a nice little Obs story up my sleeve (by which I mean a devastating one, obviously, that being my general area) but that is going to wait because as an NUJ member I won't be crossing the picket line to pitch. I know it's a perilous time but I hope other freelancers do the same.
