Having a nice femme guy to watch horror movies and adopt birds with would fix me.

Me, to myself: Why are you this way?!?

Also me, to myself: I don't know, ok? Probably trauma.

Point is, not operating at full capacity even when you technically could isn't a sin.

Not that it's always voluntary. Executive dysfunction is hell.

Really brings out that "laziness" is much less of a vice than we're all led to believe. Conserving your energy is a skill, and an important one at that. For disabled people in particular, it's vital.
magerightsactivist.bsky.social
When you're a fairly low energy/low motivation person prone to flakiness like me, you always expect people who work really hard to resent you or look down on you for it, but I've always found the opposite to be true.
Genuine workaholics admire the ability to stand still and do nothing.

you deserve to be in environments that bring out the softness in you, not the survival in you

Every time someone makes me read something Peter Thiel said it’s like “Scrooge McDuck is Jesus Christ and Huey, Dewey, and Louie are Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel and Daisy is Mary Magdalene and that’s why women voting has lowered American sperm count.”

we're all familiar with MILFs, but rarely do we discuss its inverse, the FILM, or a "fuck I'd like to mother," which is when a woman turns a shitty dude into a project

Also, I just want there to be a female equivalent to the "seducing the Mormon missionaries that show up at your door" genre. There's gotta be something that would fit into that niche.
magerightsactivist.bsky.social
Girls have that, too, and it can get just as confusing when you're of the less than heterosexual persuasion! I mean, there's a reason there is so much yuri art of girls doing each other's make-up. That's a pivotal experience in the life of many a young sapphic.

Where is all the stupid trope-y shit MLM get? Like, the "awkward, sexually charged adolescent experiences, but with adults (and this time they actually go somewhere)" type stories. Sports and rough housing and watching porn/jerking off together, and all that male bonding stuff.
magerightsactivist.bsky.social
Pretty much all the lesbian porn made by and for queer women is very real, in that sex positive, "woke" way where everyone is on the same page and communicates and knows who they are, and that's lovely, but some heightened stakes can really add to the fantasy sometimes, you know?
magerightsactivist.bsky.social
One underdiscussed downside of most lesbian porn catering to a male audience is that it is tragically devoid of the kinks and fantasies many WLW develop by virtue of growing up queer.

It's difficult, but it's possible to marry sweet and comforting elements with genuine suspense and fright.
For example, the first quarter or so of the Exorcist book (not the film) is like that, and I'd also make a case for the Icelandic folk horror film Lamb qualifying as "cozy".
magerightsactivist.bsky.social
Ah yes, my favorite cozy movie *checks notes* Misery

I fucking love artists who draw trans porn where it's very clearly just "lookit these trans characters happy in their own bodies having fun getting fucked & whatnot. Good for them, good for them !!!"
