The world is being run by people who’ve only read the first half of a self-help book about manifesting your dreams. They never got to the chapter about not being a complete asshole. I’ll be in my cave writing love stories about bariatric rescue romance. That’s how I cope.

Here are my latest thoughts: It’s about the hard work of unbinding things we were never meant to hold. What happens when we stop clinging to what’s breaking? What happens when we trust the unraveling?

All I want to do is write The world is burning & my to-do list can wrap around the earth 2x. When I write, the urge to “do something” quiets down. I’ll deal with real life later. If you need me, I'm deep in a love story about an atmokinetic groundhog. It’s the only way I know to figure things out.
