Just popped my knee, again, in my defence I was trying to dance to this on carpet, wearing slippers

If AI Nanna isn't quietly slipping you some cash, or peddling illicit sweets, is she really going to be that interesting?

Friends sometimes ask me why I won't use WhatsApp, I say it's due to not having anything owned by Meta on my phone, but it's more that I have no interest in encouraging people to feel entitled bother me.

I did wonder how European far right nationalist parties would feel about being openly supported by a foreign power, taking dark Russian money is one thing, but public support from the Trump regime might be a bit of a blight
Donald Trump is reaching out to Europe’s far right.

But France's National Rally is distancing itself from the U.S. president.

My parents are increasingly more irresponsible than I was, at my stupidest, in my teens

They went to their place in France which has terracotta tiled floors

Ma fell over, banged her head, pissed herself; Pa tried to pick her up, and slipped on the soggy surface, and banged his head on the floor

it's a bit sad to see people commending AI for doing things that computer scientists had already solved long before AI, and have been in available in open source python packages for decades.

Russia has terminated key military cooperation agreements with Canada, France and Portugal, including Soviet-era and post-Cold War deals signed in 1989, 1994 and 2000. The move was approved by Prime Minister Mishustin.

There are two parakeets and two magpies sharing a tree outside my window.

I know I should be used to them, but the London parakeets are always a pleasing sight.

One of my favourite people has just volunteered to take me out for dinner on the weekend.

Anyone know anywhere nice but not needlessly pricey in/around Wimbledon/Colliers Wood?

I feel sorry for Americans, the way they pronounce "shallots" means, when they've finished dicing them, they can't get the catharsis that comes with saying "and that's shallot!"

One thing you'd think the algorithms would work out is that if you've just bought/watched/listened to something, the chances are you're not in the market for similar things for a month or so

I'm still being offered CPU coolers long after I got one that worked, and stopped looking for a new one

Good luck to Creative Assembly in their attempt to reboot their brand.

I reckon you've fucked it by spending 15 of the last 25 years slowly juicing your customer base with many unimpressive games, and Paradox levels of nickle and dimming on your DLC.

Seems like a very good reason to make Russia Muscovy again.

No eternal retaliation if there's no eternal Russia, win-win.
🇧🇪 Belgian PM Bart De Wever told La Libre that Russia “will not lose” in Ukraine and called claims of its defeat “a fairy tale and total illusion.” He warned that Russian assets must be returned post-war and said Moscow threatened Belgium with “eternal retaliation” if confiscated.

Maybe, encouraging people with mental health issues to seek help comes with the side-effect that more people end up on medication, and doesn't mean there's been an over-diagnosis, rather than it was under-diagnosed in the past.
