Great book - I have a copy too. Yours is clearly beloved & well read! I love that this is “your” copy, it gives it more meaning than if you had a 9.8 copy. I’m sure this copy sparked your imagination & a lot of enjoyment!

Our main place is on a lake. I’ve seen bald eagles from a great distance there a few times. This place is on a large pond on Cape Cod & I have seen Osprey & several types of hawks but this was a spectacular first time for a bald eagle! So cool indeed!!

GUYS. I didn’t get a pic but I just went down to the shoreline of the pond with Pearl on leash and A FRICKIN’ BALD EAGLE took off from the right. Just beyond our property on the neighbor’s pond frontage!! 20-30 feet away!
No mistaking a mature bald eagle for anything else!
