I started transitioning at 36. Like planting trees, the best time was years ago. The second best time is today.
Anyways: transition take a lot of risk, sacrifice, and compromise, which only seem to compound further the older you get. People actually starting transition into their middle age and beyond are dealing with so much and need a hug and are also hot

I really enjoy how The Scouring introduces an element of extreme uncertainty back into the narrative. The Horus Heresy did have some surprises, but there was an inevitability inherent to the narrative that couldn’t be totally avoided.
