No joke, this may be the most effective advertisement I’ve ever seen. I don’t even need the product and I almost bought one just because Antoine Dodson comes across as the most likable human alive. youtu.be/4w8r3oPFoJM?...

OBAMA: It's fair to say that 80% of the world's problems involve old men hanging on who are afraid of death and insignificance, and they won't let go. They build pyramids, and they put their names on everything. They get very anxious about it.
IIRC in the Netherlands only a fraction of the speed cameras have an actual camera in it.
Aaaaand I’m back in Montreal, for All In 2025 as part of Team BC!
The main reason I take LLM generated code with a huge grain of salt is that I know for a fact that most code that I (and LLMs) stumble upon online is toy-quality, not meant to be run in production. Most "getting started" guides make too many shortcuts for it to be useful in prod.
This map is not very fair to the amazing Sardinian food.
Broadway is the most depressing road in Vancouver. Nothing survives there. Another one bites the dust: fav lunch place closed down. Only cars survive here, going 10-20kmh over the speed limit. What a shithole. @seanorr.bsky.social @lucymaloney.bsky.social help.

High-speed rail is coming to #Canada!

This week, federal government fast-tracked the Alto project.

Will link #Quebec City- #Montreal - #Ottawa - #Toronto , a corridor with half Canada's population.

Projected to carry 30 million passengers a year—twice US Northeast Corridor—on 300 km/h trains.

I call this In-Situ Hummus: can of chickpeas, add tahini, garlic, paprika powder, cumin, olive oil, some lemon juice and water. Blend with immersion blender. No dishes to clean (apart from the blender)

Isn't ironic that searching for "antivirus" immediately brings up the most suspicious-looking sites on the internet?

Finally, somebody calls it what it is: “open-weight models”. It’s not open source if you can’t see the training data. You can just see the numbers. It’s even less useful than a compiled executable. #bcfoundersday

First time making my own pasta was a success! I used 180gr of whole wheat and 60gr of all purpose flour plus two eggs, salt. Knead into a ball and let it rest for 30 minutes. Was about three portions worth. Pasta machine paid itself back after one meal. Why hadn’t I tried this sooner?
