The central game problem is that it's kind of rigid re: your stats and Raqio is ZERO charisma, ZERO charm and ALL logic which basically means "they may be right but no one likes them" and since the AI in the game votes somewhat based on "likedness" Racio is just PRIME target.

Yeah I do think that based on the previews that have been shown they do lean into the thriller aspect a lot more which does make sense because like, you don't really see anything in-game but like
here you get to see them actually erase you and that's lowkey terrifying lol

Considering the silver key literally belongs to Racio and the protagonist kinda yoinked it, gave it to Setsu, and then Setsu gave it to protag on loop 1, I don't see why Racio wouldn't be just as central as they were in the game HAHA
they're kind of a central puzzle piece in the mystery

I mean the point of this episode is to show what happens when you fuck up loop 1 and that is: sleep Racio because they're an asshole (obviously) and then mistakenly sleep Setsu (so you can get eaten by SQ). This sets up the stakes very well AND introduces the looping phenomenon pretty dramatically.

Actually the way the anime gets annoying with it is so VERY appealing to me because they can actually write dynamic discussions (which doesn't work as strongly in the game because it's pre-programmed interactions) and I feel like that was a perfect rundown of Racio's personality (pragmatic asshat)

Pfff hahaha tbf the designation that gnosia specifically uses (made up gender that they decided to TL as nb which makes sense) is more around the agender end of the spectrum and they're lowkey also implied to be aspec which is why Racio commented on "gendered people being swayed by appearances"

I'm still lowkey frustrated w she/her and it's a reason i removed them as pronoun options cuz i realize that most ppl see pronouns like "she/they" and "he/they" and ignore the they entirely
however it really IS the gendered the terms that hurt the most and it has to b because of how conscious it is
