okay I do have one note, & it's an issue I had with the first game as well: The decorating menu is terrible. This alt/extra thing doesn't work, sometimes an element will get replaced either way, you don't know until you choose it, it takes a moment every time, I KNOW there's a better way to do this

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

Nice, congrats! 😄 I think my first time beating him was also with the torch! I will say, I've beaten him a handful of times at this point but it's still a struggle every time, it hasn't gotten easy! can't even imagine what his harder version is gonna be like 😵

oh yeah the whip is brutal in the first encounter! it's indeed a timing thing, because the whip kinda drags behind, the actual hitbox is a bit delayed, so you have to dodge a lil later! you'll figure out the timing in no time once you've seen it a few times!
