The UK press, however, is reporting this as a win for Peggie with a little asterisk caveating all the points she lost on. One of the clearest examples of how completely distorted news coverage of anything to do with trans people has become in that country. Far worse than the US.

What is your favorite "Christian" Christmas song and what is your favorite "Secular" Christmas song?

I will probably always adore "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" for Christian.

And "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" for secular.

Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

Learning With AI Falls Short Compared to Old-Fashioned Web Search
In virtually all the ways that matter, getting summarized information from AI models was less educational than doing the work of search.

the decision to join/not join the military is, in imperialist nations, probably the least complicated moral decision that shows up in the average person's life. just, dont agree to kill foreigners on the government's say-so when your government has a history of fucking spurious say-soes.

Yet another example of how one party's decision to use AI results in a bunch of pointless work for the other party.

The sheer amount of labour this editor had to do to *not* get a real writer with a useful pitch, in a world where so many actual real writers are looking for work!
"I was embarrassed. I had been naively operating with a pre-ChatGPT mindset, still assuming a pitch’s ideas and prose were actually connected to the person who sent it"

A new earliest instance brought to us by @coimeas.bsky.social, excepting the different plural form in the title - 'Quest of the Faes' (1985) by Catherine Geenen-Thrush!

Apparently written earlier than this by the author when she was 18. Not many more examples flooding in though
