"NO CASH ACCEPTED" is a global crisis. I have seen this on three continents now. It's anti-poor, anti-youth, anti-immigrant and pro-surveillance. I had thought it was an American problem, then a Western one, but surveillance capitalism is taking over even the smallest transactions globally.

Not actually that paradoxical when you consider almost all despots are psychotic & broken as humans.
The 'strong' bit isn't based on character, but only comes from having control over armed police/unmasked goon squads willing to commit violence on their citizens for any minor dissent or mockery.
