Lingering cough and congestion aside, I’m feeling good today! I think I’ve lost about 10 lbs since my surgery in August and my ankles don’t look swollen today. My legs have stayed swollen since the surgeries and that has nothing to do with my weight, just an expected surgical side effect.

Pretty stoked to say I’ve acquired a job and will start in the new year!! Being laid off sucks but the time to heal from knee replacement(s) without having to rush back to work was nice. Now ai get to start something new with improved mobility!

I’m watching the Sound of Music and remembering in 4th grade when I purposely acted up to get sent out of class when the music teacher made us watch this. 4th grade tomboy me wasn’t into musicals, just sports and pop music, and adult me is sad that I let peer pressure dictate my likes.
