I love Silksong, but they really gotta stop making projectiles and attack indicators that are the same color as the background. It's just not worth it

These are all awesome, but damn, that first one is absolutely gorgeous!
I once beat him at the end of the gauntlet, then eventually got like halfway through the final one and went "You know what? That's enough"
I didn't particularly enjoy Nyleth, as a fight. Would be fun as a pogo boss, but the hitbox movement and minimal attack wind-up makes it incredibly inconsistent, so I had to go with 1000 poisoned projectiles on the architect crest
Karmelita has to be my favorite fight in Silksong, so far. Pure cinema
You actually don't need to put gauntlets of enemies before a bossfight

Interior illustrations for Bryan Vanderhoof's Rosharan cookbook! I had so much fun with these.
Adolin and Shallan from The Stormlight Archive. They are drawn in a sketchy pencil style. He has just coaxed her to try some men's food, and the spiciness is making her question several life choices. Yanagawn and Lift from The Stormlight Archive. They are drawn in a sketchy pencil style. Yanagawn is about to enjoy his meal, to see that Lift has beaten him to it - his plate is empty, and she is gnawing on a chicken drumstick. A servant is taking the cover off the empty platter. Behind Yanagawn's shoulder stands his vizier Noura; behind her, some shocked Azir citizens whose turn it is to witness the Prime dine. A picture story with Lift from The Stormlight Archive. The three images are drawn in a sketchy pencil style. In the first, Lift is gliding along the floor, looking behind her, a stack of pancakes in her arm. In the second, Wyndle is racing/growing/vining behind her, his vine-face one of appalled shock as he glances at unseen persecutors. Those are seen in the final image - heavily armed Azish guards racing after Lift and Wyndle. The Lopen from The Stormlight Archive. He is drawn in a sketchy pencil style and holding a rolled bread (chouta) in us one arm. He's in bridgeman attire, his left sleeve is rolled up on his missing arm.

Day 16: Pyrrhic Victory
#Soulstober2025 #BLOODBORNE #Art
Genuinely.
I also keep getting YouTube ads for the theater show and I couldn't be less excited
Ah, I see. It's not quite as extreme, in my groups, but we definetely have some of that, too
Thanks for letting me know. Honestly, I'm pretty tempted, so I might get it tomorrow. Not sure if I'll get to properly play it, any time, soon, but I'm already quite interested in simply reading the pdf, and the art does indeed look gorgeous
I'm considering getting the Daggerheart pdf + nexus bundle, because I'm honestly super curious and it looks and sounds pretty neat. Does anyone here have any experience with it?
I really wish Silksong's enemy design weren't centered around making sure they stay outside of your striking range
It's the same with Morbius. It would've been a breakout hit if they'd simply put it into cinemas one last time. But J guess they were simply cowards, allergic to success
It's a mood. I'd love to watch it, but none of my friends living nearby are into it, and I don't love the idea of going by myself

La belle dame sans merci by Frank Bernard Dicksee version of Hans and Henry from Kingdom Come Deliverance Illustration showing the characters from my book Niketas and Ulvar, but mermaid AU where Niketas is a merman. They are both underwater and Ulvar is dying. Illustration of a boy in a dark, spooky, nordic forest. The boy's eyes are blurred. Naked tall trees, their branches almost stretching towards him, towering him. A faint shape of a bird in the upper left corner. There are a few lights of eyes in the forest, watching him. An easter witch flying on a broom towards Blåkulla, a cat is standing on it as well. Both have glowing yellow eyes, staring into the camera. Birds are flying around them.
That seems to sum up my feelings, too. It's soo good, but also weirdly frustrating, at the same time

Almost forget about it...
Happy #PortfolioDay to all. Here I'm sharing couple of my favourite from this year.
For real. But her design barely had to be changed to fit, which makes sense
