Idle shittalk towards people who have nothing to do with me but do you think AAA execs get really sad whenever they see a game that forces a small resolution or uses throwback styles get called beautiful the way AAA execs and Ui devs and stuff also get mad at games making 'wrong' UI decisions?

The simple 1500 version of the game has way less overall modes, no story at all, etc

It's just kinda funny that a company (Argent in this case) would take away some features from a game to re-release it 2 years later as a budget title. Curious if the simple series has done that with any other games

My Random PS1 Runaround today has taught me that Carom Shot 2, a pool game for the PS1, had some of its assets reused in a Simple 1500 game, Billards, which uses a different style for the characters and has a different story mode.

Oh hell yeah, I found some manual scans so it does look like there are a full 7 party members, so no character creation, but I'm liking both the in game art and I really love this manual art lol

Basically after you select a command you automatically start moving to the right place to execute it? So there can be delays on your actions

Excited for spell effects, since mixing elements to make spells seems to be a big component for this game from what little I can find? Have a heal animation:
