Decided to try the dreaded Triple Triad.

As much as I like the dark of humanity in fiction, it's more from the POV of 'I know this is bad. but I can at least let these characters take me for a ride and a story' more than anything else. Just don't like seeing it taken without nuance.

The general gist of my points on my other account was essentially that anyone trying to get some modicum of satisfaction with these AI chatbots is that conversations eventually loop to this obsession. And it's scary. (My source was early days of these bots, clips from others btw)

But it seems that lesson was not being picked up. and now we're getting stories where the leads are horrible and we're supposed to like them, find them hot even as they cold-shoulder each other, hurt each other. And it's meant to be sexy. Not something I jive with and I'm glad others aren't either.

Wuthering Heights I have read only a handful of times and each time I thought 'they said this was a romance? Both leads are horrible people!' Without realising it, I had got the point. Because... they were meant to be horrible. You're not meant to root for either of them! And I actually like that.

It's still a toxic dumpster fire and even if I didn't know it was HP, I'd still avoid it.

one thing i want to make clear is that I don't think you shouldn't write about toxic romance, or anything like it. Do it! But write it with some intelligence. Notably the example used, Wuthering Heights.

For the uninitiated (god I wish that were me) Alchemised is a rewrite of a Harry Potter fic. More specifically, a Dramione one. If you guessed toxic romance disguised as hot, you're a winner.

Only thing is, the rewrite essentialy is the same with the serial numbers filed off.

A while ago on my NSFW I talked about chatbots on RP sites and how they seemed to take cues from darker fiction, especilaly some uncomfortable themes from dark romantasy.

Weird dream update.

So this morning, dream invilved people transforming to raptors (sadly the featherless ones - brain, I like the feathered ones!) And not remembering themselves while on a rampage.

Until one had people thoughts and my alarm went off before it could be resolved.

From the Welsh POV, coal was one thing keeping the country going, the type of coal here being considered some of the best.

As much as I sympathise with the miners though, coal is coal. And its still dangerous to health.
