Hi everyone! I'm a writer of original fiction (with lesbians) and official Stargate novels (they also have lesbians!)
Here's your one-stop shopping for all my novels, links to watch adaptations of my work, and everywhere else you can find me on the internet. #writing

You guys are never gonna believe this.

She did *not* get me a paperwhite, because I already HAD a paperwhite (my last two Kindles were). She got me a COLORSOFT, which I don't think I've even heard of. But it's in color! Oooo!

I wonder if I'll live long enough to see "MILLENIALS ABANDON JOBS IN DROVES" headlines when we all start retiring.

My best friend/publisher/etc bought me a birthday present that was split into three packages. So far I've gotten a new Kindle Paperwhite cover, and the next day was a new Kindle Paperwhite charger, and ... I dunno, kinda stumped what the third gift might be...

I wish 90s me could somehow find out that an actress I had a crush on and a recurring actor on my favorite show would be among those wishing me a happy birthday on Facebook in a few decades. Liz is a colleague, and Tony was just... at my webseries premiere. A gift from the universe. 😉

I think the smoothest move Michael Scott ever pulled off was calling Jan to wish her a happy birthday.
"It's not my birthday."
"Oh that's weird. I thought we had the same birthday."
"...happy birthday, Michael."

Anyway, just a random Office thought.

Oh and happy birthday, everyone.

Oh cool another piece of my past is going away. Awesome. Cool. I used to go to Mazzio's all the time in high school. Off-campus lunches, after church youth group trips. Amazing buffet, and a little arcade. It's like the whole town is shutting down. Wonder what'll go next. 🙃

What is your favourite movie from before 1970?

It's like RIGHT on the line...

"What's your phone number?"
"Not sure."
"Your mother's?"
"Couldn't tell ya."
"Any family member?"
"Um."
"Boss? Your company?"
"I might have it written down somewhere..."
"Jenny?"
"867-5309."

20 years after he passed, I got a "new" Warren Zevon album as an early birthday present. 😉

Once I tapped someone on the shoulder and, when they turned, I pointed up and whispered, "Full moon." They looked up to see it had risen while we were together, then looked back at me like I'd just pointed out Santa's sleigh passing by.

I WANT to believe this DM came from a real person... their account IS active but mostly reposting. But consistently! Either way it's still nice to hear. And as my publisher said, even if it is AI, it had to be scraped off the internet, which means this is what people are saying anyway. SO. 😁

I had a sweet dream, a frustrating dream, then ended the night with a disgusting/weird dream. The sweet one was wandering around a mall/comic convention with a bookstore and ALL the Doctor Whos (even the dead ones!) with my favorite person and their best friend. And we'll just leave it at that. 😊

Once I was worried about a friend, but second guessed. "Don't bother them. Don't be a pest." I finally sent one just saying I hoped they were doing okay. They replied, "I'm not, actually," then sent a wall of text of what they'd been carrying alone.

We talked for almost 2 hours after that.

I set up a last leg goal to write 30k in December. Three days in, I'm at 2,307. Already falling behind. 🫤 But I'm sticking to it, I'm going to do what I can and be okay with it.

I was feeling bad for Glass Onion in all the Wake Up Dead Man discourse, so I gave it another once-through. And you know, it really only suffers from comparison to the others. It's still a really fun mystery movie with some great Blancisms.

I've heard the song before, lots of times, but ever since seeing #WakeUpDeadMan, the lyric "Come down off the cross, we can use the wood" pops into my head daily, randomly.

The neighbor I was worried might be dead is actually alive! Or someone found her and knows the situation. Either way I don't have to call in a welfare check on a stranger, and I consider that enough to call a win.

I woke up to a friend asking me to officially confirm she had copyright permission to adapt one of my books. There are worse ways to start a day.
