Covid fraud under the Tories cost the UK taxpayer £10.9bn.

VIP lanes and crony contracts.

Lack of anti-fraud controls in Covid scheme.
Money handed out for non-existent employees
Newly formed companies got public money
No competitive tenders
Poor checks on quality.

How much would be recovered?
Covid fraud under the Tories cost the taxpayer £10.9 billion
The counter-fraud and error measures during the pandemic under the Conservative Government were accused of being 'so lax they may as well have left the door wide open'

The Scholars Programme doesn’t just teach academic skills - it also builds confidence, ambition, and a belief in what’s possible.

Just £15 will give 7 more students like Deepali one hour with an inspiring PhD researcher.

Yes, it's eager. Yes, it's censorious. But it has the very considerable advantage of not being fascist.

What a powerful and inspirational story 👏👏👏
Sam grew up in South Yorkshire and first joined The Scholars Programme in Year 10. His project on preterm birth, taught by his tutor Emmanuel, opened his eyes to reproductive health and gave him his first taste of university life. (1/5)

👏👏👏 Kudos on several levels! If this turns out to be a hoax we'll be very disappointed. What a stark contrast to the response from Wakefield Council to the "unauthorised erection" of flags there!
Disgraceful! A patriotic flag shagger who dedicated his time to illegally putting up 64 flags is being charged £2,300 for the cost of taking them down. If it wasn't so funny I'd be furious.

The Titanic hit an obstacle (iceberg) and sank, with the loss of a lot of lives....
Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances. A new decade-long Brexit study explains it: a 6–8% hit to GDP – that's £180bn-£240bn a year – means less tax, less investment and less money for everything else.

Brexit made Britain poorer. Much poorer.
