I'm not sure but I think I might be the first person in the world to hear "the dog's got into the chicken biriyani and it's on the curtains" being shouted up the stairs while I'm on a teams? x

Head in hands wondering how this could happen to me, the popular president who posted a video of myself shitting on everyone 2 weeks ago
My partner hates it when I pronounce chorizo incorrectly and like any normal non-Spaniard. Also ciabatta. But he says Nazi like Razzy and once spoke of a tibula fracture so we are even.

The first thing Yaxley-Lennon did on leaving court was to thank Elon Musk for funding his legal costs.

That's Elon Musk who has repeatedly called for civil war in the UK.

As of typing this - all of the major politicians and platforms maintain a presence on X and it is time for them all to leave.

I grew dahlias for the first time this year, so this has been a great thread to learn from, thank you! Getting those tubers up this weekend!

AND plants give back a hundred times. Every squash has a hundred seeds, each pea plant a hundred peas (ok, I'm exaggerating a bit for effect, but still...). Plants are a gift of exuberance from our Mother Earth

Another nice example of centre and left votes lining up behind the best candidate to beat Reform.
Bromsgrove South (Worcestershire) Council By-Election Result:

➡️ RFM: 33.4% (-1.5)
🌳 CON: 11.3% (-5.8)

Every year around this time I get some wonderful quinces from my friend Lizzie. And every year I think that peeling them is like peeling rocks … but I’ve just cooked a bundle and the taste is so lovely and so unusual - as always … thank you Lizzie. What a treat.

We have no idea how terrifying the whole experience was or what it took her to get there. Nor do we know what causes her anxiety (it may not be TV studios) or what the impact of her medications are each day. People with MH issues are some of the most stigmatised and disadvantaged in our society.

Ah, Bluesky wants to make itself an even more comfortable place for users.

Great for people who don’t want to hear anything they disagree with. Bad if you occasionally have views that don’t please the majority.

I don't really use social media to 'challenge my ideas' tbh. I get plenty of that at work, from friends, from my real world experience of media, culture and TV. I don't need to be 'disliked' because that is how it will feel. I'd rather get a comment, or pass on by or even a monstrous quote tweet!
