When people show you who they are, believe them.

And of course JD Vance refused to condemn this.

Agree. Will anyone follow up on this?
Why is not Trump’s letter a federal crime- lying to Congress -given its false claims re DC crime? And why shd he be immune from suit for this when anyone else wd be prosecuted.

EPSTEIN-Trump is playing games. He’s seeking disclosure of grand jury material but that requires court approval which the law is VERY hard to satisfy. But the government TODAY can disclose all the other investigative material on its own without court approval. Why isn’t it doing that?

Yes! I’ve been waiting for someone of stature to go to El Salvador.
Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen is demanding a meeting with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele over the detention of Kilmar Abrego Garcia and says he’ll go to El Salvador himself if the Marylander isn’t returned.

A bunch of Trump’s most influential advisors are advocating for the US to leave NATO and the UN.

Short-sighted, reactionary morons.

You should really ask yourselves why anyone that has the US interests at heart would want us to leave the most powerful alliance in history.

The only thing that might move Trump is if Britain uninvites Trump or otherwise cancels his official visit.

I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.

How can courts keep up with this enabled maniac? Congress could reassert its constitutional authority but will it wait until the government is irretrievably disassembled?

🤭 Now that's a statement necklace!
I love this so much!

At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions.

This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

How will he use these criminals next? He is assembling his own private militia. They owe him now.
All those prosecuted by the Justice Department — from the plotters imprisoned for seditious conspiracy and felons convicted of assaulting police officers to those who trespassed on the restricted grounds on Jan. 6 — will soon be released from incarceration, if they were still in federal custody.
Breaking:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Trump says he's pardoned about 1,500 defendants charged in Jan. 6 attack on US Capitol and is issuing six commutations.
