The vast majority are good people who love this nation deeply, and many of them are still working despite not knowing when they’ll be paid

All around me the noise is fierce, on so many fronts. Tonight is the start of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. It's in my DNA to find myself mentally closing the door on the noise, making time for quiet reflection. I wish friends a sweet and healthy year. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me.

#BlueSkyArtShow #Home - it's hard to imagine that there are whole generations of children who have never seen the starry brilliance of a night sky because of light pollution. I love #Toronto at night, but part of why I travel is to find dark skies.
