I’ll probably be live-posting a sport, posting a picture of food, or making some sort of pun.
It’s incredible how often you’ll hear a finance bro or someone talking about investing in online circles that thinks they invented an idea that, in reality, already has specific legislation that was written to prevent it 150 years ago.
I once knew a Federal bank examiner, and one time someone asked him why we had to KEEP inspecting banks over and over. He basically said every new batch of business school grads invents bank fraud from first principles.
AirBnB CEO calling it “vibe revenue” just 👨‍🍳 😘

The underlying cause of every bubble - debt masquerading as financial innovation - depends on not just short financial memory & speculative neophytism, but reinventing jargon of finance, like how each generation of kids has new ways to say same things.

Let me be the 4000th person to ask, “But where is Nine on that list.”
J.J. McCarthy now ranks 851 out of 852 in EPA per Dropback among qualified passers since 2000, per Tru Media. The only player below McCarthy is JaMarcus Russell.

All these Jamies completions are going to make that INT to end the game that much worse.

It’s come to my attention that the guy that plays the iceman at the beginning of Meet Me in St. Louis is name Chill Wills. This seems important.

Just dropped a “Bye Buddy, hope you find your dad.” So the Christmas season has officially begun.

UK-Vandy “action”:

Vandy FG
4 minutes of ads
Kickoff touchback
4 minutes of ads
2 plays by UK
End of quarter, 4 minutes of ads.
1 UK play
UK punt
3 minutes of ads

So after the FG, there have been 4 plays with any action and 15 minutes of ads. Entertainment!

for senior citizens it can mean so much to spend quality time with a young person, even if it's just a few minutes

I’m someone that over-analyzes metrics on how soon I can retire. I cannot stress how nice of a lifestyle you could have with $9 million sitting in a solid investment portfolio. You’d probably be able to spend $35k per month and never lose ground. Maybe even $50k, if returns were good.
If you gave me just the $9 million buyout, he got from Penn State with minimum negotiation you could not find me, I would be on the back of a yak in Kyrgyzstan drinking tea with a guide named Bulvan as he taught my kids about falconry

There are good people that I like and miss hearing from that I know are still on that mess. Whatever their reasoning is, I’m not going to debate it, they have their reasons, but I definitely do not get it.

I know the owners of this one aren’t great either, but it isn’t a propaganda machine here.
Quite frankly, I think non-fascists who are still using Twitter and somehow still believe it’ll help them achieve non-fascist aims are 100% delusional. It’s pathetic.
It's a censorship engine designed to promote ideas that Elon Musk likes and suppress ideas that Elon Musk does not like. I really don't get why this evident fact - that Musk openly admits! - is so hard for so many people to understand

2 Things:

Personified chatbots that direct you through tasks on taxes or benefits enrollment or anything like that is nothing new. They are usually on a tightly scripted workflow chart that direct the user through the experience. This will be open-ended and can easily go off the rails. (1/2)
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.

Besides their rock bottom financials, Target announced this. Because it worked so well when everyone tried to make purchases in Alexa a thing!

"I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. ... Grab 'em by the p****. You can do anything."
Nancy Mace: "You can see in the Epstein emails that he's clearly targeting President Trump as retribution for him being a good man ... he's a good man who protects women. That's what real men do."

Maybe just not date a teenager?
Btw about this from Lizza's reply: Olivia and I lived together for 4+ years (4 b'days, 4 Xmases, 4 anniversaries). That's like $1250 of jewelry per celebration. And her apartment was a writing studio. And I made an f-ton then. What was I supposed to do? Get her a lot of Gift Certificates from Kmart?

4o is a nightmare that spits out appeasement and self-aggrandizing just to keep the user engaged. It is at least partially responsible for multiple deaths and should be buried under the power plant running it. A.I. is bad enough but 4o is the worst of it.
"Powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4o model by default...tests repeatedly showed that the AI toy dropped its guardrails the longer a conversation went on, until hitting rock bottom on incredibly disturbing topics."

FoloToy says it's suspended sales of its AI-powered teddy bear after researchers found it gave wildly inappropriate and dangerous answers.

In a week where Kentucky’s failed QB starter tries to brag about his NIL money online…we destroyed Florida? Sure man, somehow beat UL and get a bowl game while we are at it.
