Is Deltarune chapter 3 a bootstrap paradox? Gerson says that in chapter 3 of Lord of the Hammer, the heroes “traverse the isles of northernlight”, which are Tenna’s game boards. But the game boards are a romhack/bootleg of dragon blazers, which was based ON lord of the hammer. What ARE the isles?

Is it bad that I’m actually kind of enjoying Sonic Rumble? The “pay to win” bits aren’t really that bad because the currencies are pretty common from missions, nothing affects actual matches outside of skills and characters, and most characters and skills have cheap, still viable alternatives.

Actually tried Sonic Rumble because of the recent Tangle & Whisper news, It’s actually kinda good if you ignore the pop ups. there’s not much pay to win outside of being able to skip farming for the skills. Most of the paid stuff just boosts ring (currency) gain and doesn’t affect matches at all.
Yes this picture was taken on the mobile version, I wasn’t home at the time but I still was proud of this one lol.

I swear to god Windswept has the cleanest movement/speed tech out of every 2D platformer I’ve ever played, go play it. The shit you can get away with is crazy. It is not for the faint of heart.

WTF how did I just realize DELTARUNE being surrounded by angle brackets is most likely referring to coding terms. I don’t know much, but from a tiny bit of research, angle brackets can be used to indicate the replacing of a template with a different one later, or to refer to a header file path…

On February 18th, 2025, we surpassed the first milestone by implementing rough versions of 3.0's "required" cutscenes. Today, we achieved the second milestone by implementing rough versions of nearly all supplementary content - scenes of somewhat lesser importance, but nonetheless necessary to create a strong buildup to the big ones. At this point, there are only a small handful of unimplemented cutscenes that are dependent on yet-unfinished gameplay mechanics. But the story and progression of the game, albeit chock full of placeholders, is now fully playable from start to finish, and thus I'm happy to say that we finally exited the alpha phase of development. Now comes the beta stage, where we focus on creating final assets for existing scenes, as well as tying all the story bits together with moments of interesting gameplay. ... However, the journey is still going to take a while. Due to life fucking us over in a number of ways, development on the project slowed down, and though many cutscenes were created throughout the year, virtually no art assets were able to be made for them. To be honest, I was worried I was going to come here today to announce a hiatus until we sort things out, but... ... I've discussed with the team today regarding how are we gonna proceed next, and we have organized an emergency plan, with the talented SKL taking over some of Redd's tasks for a few brief weeks, only until things stabilize for him and he can return to contributing art to the project. I can't stress enough that Redd's life situation kinda sucks ass right now, so I'll leave a link to his gofundme in the replies if you'd like to understand why, and perhaps support him too. I know I sound like a PR bot when I say this, but I'm eternally grateful for your patience and the generous support I've seen for my ditzy little piece of work. I'll do everything to bring this update over the finish line. - Maxine
