This is from Autocracy, Inc, about how modern autocratic propaganda works.

I consider this every time I decide what to share and how to frame it.

Many of the propagandists of Autocracy, Inc., have learned from the mistakes of the twentieth century. They don’t offer their fellow citizens a vision of utopia, and they don’t inspire them to build a better world. Instead, they teach people to be cynical and passive, because there is no better world to build. Their goal is to persuade people to mind their own business, stay out of politics, and never hope for a democratic alternative: Our state may be corrupt, but everyone else is corrupt too. You may not like our leader, but the others are worse. You may not like our society, but at least we are strong and the democratic world is weak, degenerate, divided, dying.

That’s really the only way the whole right wing „conservative“/„christian“ agenda makes any sense at all.

Not yet born or even conceived = child, anyone who managed to survive birth is an adult (and can therefore go to hell for all they care).

The weirdest thing I actually believe is every time the world could have ended but didn't, we get on the timeline where we didn't all blow ourselves up which is actually increasingly improbable and therefore so is everything else.

Nu muss ich dazu sagen dass ich in Norwegen wohne - bin mir aber recht sicher dass die Kondensmilch aus Deutschland war.
Ich wüsste nämlich garnicht was „Kondensmilch“ auf Norwegisch heißen würde 😆 also muss es auf Deutsch draufgestanden haben.

Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher dass ich gestern im Bioladen tatsächlich Kokos-Kondensmilch gesehen hab. Keine Ahnung wie die dann ist, aber es stand „gezuckerte Kondensmilch“ drauf.

1. Das ist ein gutes Beispiel für Framing und Manipulation durch Medien.
2. Zustimmen würde ich auch diesen Aussagen nicht, denn diese Personengruppe ist so klein dass sie keinerlei Einfluss auf das „Stadtbild“ hat.

Litt sånn «trenger man lys inne før og etter jobb, og refleks på veien til og tilbake, så er det mørketid!»

Ein Kreisdiagramm. Steuerhinterziehung ist Blau markiert, und nimmt einen Großteil des Kreises ein. Sozialbetrug in Anführungszeichen ist Lila markiert, und praktisch nicht sichtbar. Jens Spahn ist orange markiert, und nimmt einen deutlich sichtbaren Bereich ein
