People saw how bad it was, few years ago. They explicitly said and showed how bad it was going to be!
Still, people: "nah, I have to put food on the table, eggs are too expensive. Plus at least he is authentic."

That is what I define a "centrist". Conservative in some ways, liberal in others. Basically a balanced individual. Not fully open borders, but no ICE beating up people. No pouring money to save banks and chip makers, but also spending money in making health something attainable in 21st century.

I do not know... to me, my impression is that that orange beast has not lost one single vote. Every single one who voted for him, would vote for him again. Even while homeless, without health care, and while being deported. "Yeah, I support him! He says it like it is!"

Nope. After many clashes and complaints, it became clear the group wanted to read books and marvel on their words. No questioning. So, no study. Just looking.
A recent one was comments from supporters of Taco. "I like him because he is authentic."
Since when being authentic is good in itself?

Hmm.
I had a few frustrating experiences... one was a study group in a certain place, centered on teachings of a certain religion. A study group, then I assumed "let's study the hell out of it. Including questioning concepts that are not explained, proposing research and other explanations."

I believe that CA is unfortunately not enough. Blue states wanted to do the right thing and removed their own power to redistrict, whereas red states never cared about being just.
