for context, I'm about 3 weeks sober? about a month ago I relapsed and about 3 weeks ago, I bought a litre of everclear for the weekend. it was supposed to last 3-4 days. I woke up the next morning and it was *empty.*

and then I shit out chunks of my stomach lining and decided to stop again.

I now know the specific difference between Drinking Responsibly and Disordered Drinking. I wish I didn't have to know that, but I know now. I know painfully well now. it's not just drinking a little too much, it's drinking at home until you're out of booze then going to get more.

1. AI TTS is a lifesaver for me as someone with a reading disability, and I'm comfortable working with the voices that help me read.
2. Youtube has made their search useless for finding movie quotes. You look for a quote, and there are shorts using that quote as a title for SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY!

I hate fibromyalgia. I really do. I couldn't get out of bed this morning and just went back to sleep, then woke up after noon and still couldn't get up. I managed to force myself to get up after sitting there for an hour and a half, but damn man. that's so inefficient.

all to say that I feel ya. if you're actually being displaced by automation, I understand where you're coming from about your job being automated away while capitalism leaves you begging for scraps within months, maybe weeks, if you can't outperform automation, which is a ridiculous expectation.
