I'm honestly surprised they didn't in the early 2000's when they were slow to pick up on the arrival digital music and tried to fight it instead of adapt. They're like dinosaurs.

That's good. I have had that problem buying from mall stores, and I hear Temu is worse, but I don't have first-hand experience. I've just learned what materials to avoid because they can't stand more than 4-5 trips through the washer. It's kind of like what's the point?

I mean, considering the state of fast fashion, it seems like people have grown accustomed to only wearing something once or twice before it falls apart. I'm the opposite - I shop for things I can wear for 3-4 years over and over. I'm not stylish but I'm not wasteful, either.

The new one is very cozy, optimistic, and playful. I've been enjoying it, and I'm not historically a Taylor fan. I'm 49. I like a couple of her older songs, and some others have really annoyed me. She's really evolved as a songwriter. This is the first album of hers I've enjoyed start to finish.

Speaking as a songwriter, I think the songs are well crafted but comfortable, and that makes a lot of people uncomfortable.

It’s so true. Everyone has something personal to project on benign pop songs these days, creating mythology where there is none so they can be the hero of their own crusade. It’s just not that deep, guys.

Thank you. We’re not broken, we don’t need fixing, and we shouldn’t be feared. Avoiding vaccines and Tylenol to ensure you won’t have an autistic child is ableist AF.
