Throwback to movie night with YYC Eritreans! This lovely group of folks hosted a community movie night for families in Tigrinya! The pick for the evening was Madagascar. Super fun evening! Kudos to these wonderful community leaders for bringing everyone together.

Had a lovely walk at Queens Park Cemetery with Friends of Confederation Creek to see where it surfaces in Calgary. Also visited Jack White Goose Flying’s resting place, namesake of the White Goose Flying Report (www.heritagecalgary.ca/heritage-cal... ). Warmed up at @velvet_cafe_calgary!

Bill 201 will raise minimum wage over the next 2 years, put an end to the wage differential for those under 18, and index the wage to inflation. Email, call or message your local MLA to do the right thing and vote yes on Bill 201. #ableg
