I English good. Daylight Saving Time should be permanent. Views my own.

Have you heard about civil forfeiture?
It's messed up.
THE STUPID VOTERS CAN ONLY FOCUS ON ONE THING AT A TIME, WE THEREFORE ARE ABONDONING ALL WINNING MESSAGING ON THE CURRENT CRISIS AND ALL PAST COMPLAINTS.
Durbin on whether Democrats can use reining in ICE in Chicago as a precondition to rein in the government says “can’t do that. It’s gotta be health care all the way.”

No, I got it for me.

VA's senators just keep on getting worse and worse...
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

I love that Google is including slop like Citizen AI in it's news alerts.

Thanks, Google! Where else would I get a summary of a forfeiture reform bill that was passed by the Utah house in 2016? This is very useful!

Played another session of Bohemians tonight.

It’s a pretty fun deck builder with some weird design choices.

You start the game with an art and a character board, and they are random but certain boards favor specific arts? Why?

And why do the Atelier tokens not match the boards‽

Thanks, NYT, for reminding me why I don't read from your website anymore.

In BFD news, today in an @ij.org case, a state appellate court for the 1st time explicitly rejected the "probable cause" standard of Camara v Municipal Court (1967) for a state constitution. Pennsylvania cities now cannot look in renters' homes just because "this is what we do" (The Camara standard)

We need a national ban on police dogs. Cops should not be training animals to attack people. It's abusive toward people and the animals themselves—it's utterly depraved.
My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

It’s time for my annual plug for this style of tree stand. If you are still manually screwing your tree upright, I’m sorry to say that you’re a sucker.

Also: I grew up with this quilt and now it is exclusively used to transport the tree every year. It’s a good retirement for a well loved quilt.

If you haven't heard this story, you should check it out.
Police in Colorado wrongly accused a woman of stealing a $25 package off a porch.

Their rationale?

Her car was seen on a license plate reader in the town. But the town is 50 feet from her home, so of course it had been seen there.

So I took some of my wife’s reusable hot hands and held them to the metal before I put up the strip. Worked like a charm.

And I don’t know how to feel about that.

But Thanksgiving is the best holiday and I hope everyone can enjoy their day.
