The fact that it's the same fight again with some added bullshit is why I dislike it! It doesn't feel like an evolution, it feels like arbitrary bullshit additions that add the bad kind of challenge.
With Eigong, EVERY move has a hard counter that's satisfying to pull off. Not so here.

Silksong is a better metroidvania overall but I think Nine Sols beats it out in a lot of key areas
