Was supposed to be taking the girls ice skating in Manchester tonight, but the weather is appalling & there is no way it is safe for them to skate outside. Apparently this isn't a good enough reason to request a refund, so I'm £30 down, but I'm not chancing my girls getting hurt.

Worked 9am-4pm today with a 30 minute break. It's the longest I've worked for pay in 16 years.
I know that's not a lot to some, but with my massive MH struggles, years of constant psych admissions and soul destroying insomnia/physical issues, this is a massive win for me.

Watched Elio on Disney+ and I'm quite disappointed. I thought it would portray children that have to wear patches to try and strengthen their eyes for their vision, but it isn't. He only wears the patch for a few days because he gets a scratch on his eye.

Our plane hasn't even pulled up to the gate and people are already queuing up.
It still has to park up, unload the passengers and the baggage, then load the new lot of baggage before we can even start to board.
What is the actual point?
We're all going to the same place.

At the airport and a couple have missed their flight. They got to the gate after it closed.
But they have 3 bags full of duty free alcohol.
Surely, if you know you're going to miss your flight because you're too busy buying alcohol, you forget the alcohol and go straight to the gate?! 🤷🏼♀️
